It’s just wonderful, celebrating Christmas in Mammoth Lakes. This has been the second year that we spent Christmas in Mammoth and for 2 years in a row, we got lucky with a snowfall on Christmas day. I love Mammoth because the drive from LA is smooth. You hardly notice the elevation as you drive up to the mountain. Nope , we didn’t ski nor snowboard this time, the kids were already happy playing in the snow with sledding and building a snowman .
