Camping at the beach seemed like the best thing to do to say farewell to Summer 2014. Found this nice parking campground by the beach, an hour’s drive from Santa Barbara the Jalama Beach.On our way to the campsite; we visited the Mission Santa Ines near Solvang.
A visit to the nearby ostrich farm gave the kids a unique experience- feeding the birds. The kids had tremendous fun at Ostrichland USA.
I suggest making a reservation ahead of time as camp sites get easily filled up during summer time.
It was a great summer.
